Intro

Power Rangers Take Flight consists of 40 full episode screenplays, with applicable sentai images. Its purpose was to explore elements I've been wishing to see in Power Rangers.

Sentai

This series uses footage from 1991's Choujin Sentai Jetman. This footage has been rearranged and reinterpreted for Take Flight, and as such, this series should not be regarded as an accurate introduction to the sentai.

Setting

Like Power Rangers, Take Flight takes place in the year following its sentai (here, 1992). I've set it in a parallel universe to avoid trampling on existing canon, but some connections to Power Rangers are inevitable.

Ownership

I claim no ownership of concepts or images from Jetman or Power Rangers; characters which appear in neither are my original creations. I invite readers to create their own fan seasons; if you choose to adapt Jetman, however, please do not redistribute or link to the image files from my site.

Images

Sentai images have been captured from Jetman directly. US-original characters have been depicted using either Hero Machine 2.0 or Poser 6. Props have been designed in Sketchup.

Commentary

Writer's commentary is optionally available for each episode, including sentai notes and behind-the-scenes tidbits. Spoilers abound; if you haven't finished the series and remotely enjoy mystery or suspense, you probably shouldn't read the commentary yet.
